Kenya is the housewife everyone loves to hate, which is neither here nor there when it comes to her hair. We can’t deny that she has some gorgeous tresses, and if you are in the market for long hair, Kenya is banking on your pockets.
We have talked about Kenya’s hair care line before the first time she mentioned it, and showed off her hair while on Instgram. Well, she started off the year again with another post, shamelessly promoting the line that is set to come out this year.
We aren’t one to question anybody’s marketing tactics, because at the end of the day, everybody has to eat, right? Kenya got a lot of shade on the last post she did regarding hair and on this one, things were pretty much the same.
Her announcement:
“Hello #2015 to all my ladies who are frustrated with the health or length of their hair #moorehaircare products can help you achieve your hair goals. I now have waist length hair by using my own hair care products to strengthen and nourish your real hair so that it’s stronger and can grow longer. Sign up at kenyamoore.com to receive samples when they ship next month. #moorehaircare available March 2015! #longhairjourney #naturalhair #noweave #realhair #allhairtypes #luxuryhaircare”.
Even though she parted through her hair in an effort to prove that she had no weave in, her followers still were not believers. In my opinion, that is a great thing, because clearly it is her real hair. If you have doubt, then you must be looking at something that you consider good, or worth deceiving people about.
The goal of Moore Hair Care Products is to help strengthen and nourish your real hair, which is a great angle, since we all know that products have nothing to do with causing growth.
Well I must admit that I am a tad bit curious about what will make her products stand out, other than her fabulous personality. I mean, will it be great for all hair types? What are her suggestions for use? Are they all natural, and does that matter?
There is so much to hair care other than hair products, so it will be interesting to see how she spins her business venture, and how her work outside of this will affect her sales.
Comment below, and let us know if you are curious enough to try the Moore Hair Care Products.
Nina Simone says
I guess if she was wearing tracks, there would of been a thousands comments saying how beautiful her ” hair” is. Smh. Gorgeous hair Kenya.
Miesha Domio says

Dalisa Lusby says

Anette Sanders says
Okay white women wear weaves all the time it’s not cause they can’t grow hair just needs that fullness I don’t see nothing wrong with that lets start backing our sisters
Asia Dildy says
Just because her opinion is different doesn’t make her a hater.
Marvina Bell says
Wow nice, I never knew she had a hair care line
Jessica Bigyella Robinson says
Some people just can’t grow hair like that (Kenya’s type, texture, length ) no matter what products are used. It’s usually genetic. Ijs….USUALLY not always.
Naimah Pope says
Its about how to treat and maintain your hair and body. Anybody can grow long hair if they doing it right
Shannon Monique says
No it does have to do with genetics
Jordann Alease says
if you don’t have some sort of disease, proper care can get you a minimum of 12 inches of hair which isnt short!
Blaque Chyna says
It’s true some ppl can grow waist length and some can’t go beyond their shoulders. Genetics has a lot to do with it.
Monica Cameron says
But genetics isn’t the majority. All it take is patience, proper care to hair and body. It’ll grow… As long as you’re breathing, hair won’t stop growing. Just gotta know how to retain lengths.
Maybell Lena Killion says
It’s her hair and we can all do it! I’m almost to bsl, I’m proud and no weaves here!
Roberta Hosey says
Its all her hair. Beautiful♡
Erica McNeil says
Cut them ends and it would look even better
Mrss Hamilton says
Does anyone know the name of it
Christal Sanchez says
Not genetics. Just good hair care. simple. All it takes is time and patience and figuring out what your hair needs. All hair grows. Thats what hair does. If you want to retain all your length you have to put some effort into it.
Ab Ster says
Well said
Tonia Olivera says
Yes I believe its genetic my father is Chicano Mom is Black mom hair doesn’t grow or anywhere in her blood line
LUCY says
Just because your mom is BLACK and her RELATIVES hair doesn’t grow does NOTmean that BLACK hair does NOT grow. It IS genetics. All black people do NOT have NON-growing hair genes. ANDY a BLACK person does NOT have to be MIXED racially in order to GROW a LONG length of hair. My MOTHER’S hair USED to be AVERAGE (chin/neck length) as I was growing up, but her MOM, my GRANDMA ‘s hair was hitting (SHOULDER BLADES/BRA STRAP) in THOSE DAYS there was NO WEAVE WEARING. My MOTHER’S SISTER (my AUNT) HER HAIR was APPROXIMATELY 16 inches in LENGTH ALL THE WAY AROUND, FRONT, BACK and SIDES. NO PERM, (to this VERY DAY, my aunt is 74 years old) and STILL LONG! My GRANDMA passed away, BUT her HAIR REMAINED LONG her ENTIRE TIME on earth. NO PERMS, NO WIGS, NO WEAVES. oh! I FORGOT TO MENTION this! MY MOM is NOW in her LATE 70’s, HER HAIR is NOW SHOULDER BLADE LENGTH in her OLD AGE! ALSO! My MOM, AUNT and GRANNY are BLACK AMERICANS born the descendants of FORMER SLAVES. NOT MIXED to MY KNOWLEDGE! HAIR IS BEAUTIFUL! Oh yeah MY OWN HAIR? Was approximately 14 inches all AROUND, FRONT, SIDES, and BACK UNTIL I allowed the PERMS in. NOW THINNER, about 12 inches in BACK, 10 to 11 inches on SIDES, and about 9 inches to the FRONT. I am STILL ALLOWING PERMS/CHEMICALS in my hair. I GREW UP WITH PRESS/CURL ONLY. WHITE PEOPLE STOP MY AUNT IN MALL NOW TO COMPLIMENT HER SILKY SILVER LONG REAL TRESSES! No LIES! LoL! BUT WE ARE ALL STRAIGHT UP 100 per cent BLACK Americans!
Maybell Lena Killion says
Yes ma’am, do some research!
Connie Hale says
All hair grows! Both my mom and dad side of the family have very short hair. However, I learned how to care for my hair therefore, I was able retain it. Before I did my big chop, my hair was bra strap length. So, no I don’t believe it’s just genetics.
Alexsandra Brown says

Chanèl Renee says
It is a weave, she is promoting her new hair line , also including weave. Ain’t nobody hating.
Casandra Lynch says

Blaque Chyna says

Anette Sanders says
Maybe that’s what her product line will be about accomplished fullness
Kia Dionne Hall says
Whaattt?? Her hair was just as thick if not thicker back in the day. Most black women are so negative and will shoot down anything/anyone that they wish they had. Nice car? Dope dealer? Fridge full of food? Food stamps..etc.
Jewell Love says
That’s her real hair
La Toya Armani says
NONE of you know her personally so NONE of your opinions stand against mine. Thanks

Debbie Meeks says
Her hair has always been long, it’s genetic. Just another celebrity trying to take advantage of the naive, advertising products they don’t use. Some people are so gullible they’ll fall for anything, as long as the celebrity is attached to it they’ll buy it.
Sheila Jones says
So true
Tina Jean Louis says
Exactly… first the booty video, which didn’t work, now this..
Camella Rose Jones says
Hair growth has nothing to do with genetics.

Jalisa says
My hair was always just above my shoulders. I Just thought it Would never grow long despite the fact that I had to keep retouching my new growth. But I just started taking care of my hair and in just two years it grew about seven inches. My hair is naturally three different colors. Dark brown at the roots light brown in the middle, and Sandy red at the tips.
Jamaica Love says
Some people are cray cray
Chanèl Renee says
They sure are ,and there is one woman on here, that keeps calling anyone a hater if you say that’s not Kenya Moore’s hair . Just trippen ..lol

Denise Harvey says
I wish my hair was that long !
Tamara TamIam says
She has always had long beautiful hair
Takesha Lasondra Hornsby says
Your hair length also has to do with hair care, the food you eat the vitamins you take. So it’s not just genetics.
Tasheka Jackson says
Why are people so damn delusional Kenya has had that hair since before forever helloo! Way back in her miss USA days and btw those are really her green eyes too smh…boy oh boy if some black women can’t achieve it or don’t have it they hate on the next black women that can smh sad!
Tammie Faulkner Taylor says
That is her hair but those are contacts. And no one is saying darker people can’t have green eyes, but those are contacts.
Tasheka Jackson says
Tammie yes they are hers! And I hate it when ppl don’t second guess the length of a white woman’s hair but always thinking a black woman with length has a weave!
Laquayva Anthony says
FYI Kenya has always had green eyes. I remember when I first saw her back in 1993 competing for Miss USA. That is her natural eye color. Don’t know who made up the lie that those are contacts.
LUCY says

Athena BlueGreen says
She has always had beautiful hair!
Mesha Coleman says
Definitely genetics…hair has a natural length and growth rate. Retention of length can help but all hair sheds once it reaches that natural growth rate. Great care can mean healthy hair but length especially the obsession with waist length hair for all is another way to grow the multi-billion dollar hair industry. Talk to your Dermotologist they can break down the science.
MEshell Green says
She has beautiful hair and always had it.
Jamaica Love says
They even said it on the the housewives that it wasn’t all her hair. She.may have some length but that is not all hers…..and I’m not hating….she is nothing to hate on.
Darrah Kay says
She may add hair for volume but that’s it.
Takesha Lasondra Hornsby says
The older you get the thiner your hair gets is bogus! I have had long, strong and thick hair Venice the age of 4. No thinning whatsoever. I can not say it’s all genetics either because I’ve known and seen people who’s families on both sides have short hair but that one person who cared for their body inside and out growed hair longer than mines. So as I stated before its what you eat, drink, the vitamins and the care you give your hair that will make it grow.
Rebekah Faye says
I like Kenya Moore’s hair and it’s all real, I think it’s nice of her to share her hair care products, it shows even the more, another good part of her character, cause she didn’t have to do it
Takesha Lasondra Hornsby says
Damn auto correct!
Asia Dildy says
Real or not it’s cute!
Tammie Faulkner Taylor says

Miss DJ says
1. I believe that is all her own hair. I saw the video where she parted it several ways to the scalp and have seen with long hair since her Miss USA days.
BUT I’m more impressed by people who have always had SHORT hair who find a product or technique that helps them grow to new lengths. Don’t try to sell me on some snake oil you formulated to cash in on what nature already gave you.
AutumnLdn says
P Diddy’s phrase is still relevant: Vote or Die. Regarding her scalp-grown hair, her product and her character: Doubting her is only giving others in the community leverage to doubt you too. Lead by example. If you expect to not be prejudiced against in this regard, then quit doing it to others who get prejudiced against in the same way. I’m happy that a black American in the spotlight is using the attention for a purpose, especially an entrepreneurial one. We need more large-scale black owned hair care!!! I’m hoping that the commentators doubting her and using any excuse to put her down are not really black or mixed as you are the demographic her product is aimed at, and at least you can be assured that she is not bigoted that the many other companies you already support without knowledge of their ignorance. Trust, if they’re not hiring you to make decisions, they certainly do not respect your opinions, only receipt of your cash. Hopefully, you won’t become you’re own worse enemy.
Cak says
I desperately need the product. How can I get it in Nigeria.
